Vincent's Vineyard is on the 6 generation family farm located in Russell County. Before conception of the 3 acre vineyard, the Gilmer's went from raising cattle, producing wheat and corn, and milling on Big Cedar Creek, to growing tobacco and raising sheep.
From tobacco growers to vintners,they planted the first vines in 2001; Traminette and Cabernet Franc. Later,they planted Steuben, Chambourcin, Chardonel, Chardonnay and a few Concord for those jelly and juice lovers. Over the years, Vincent's Vineyard harvested quality grapes which were sold tothe friendly local vintners at; Abingdon Vineyard and Winery, Mountainrose Vineyards, and Dye's Vineyards.
In 2008, Vincent's Vineyard built their manufacturing building and harvested the grapes to produce wine which is currently being sold in the newly constructed tasting room. The tasting room is beautifully designed so you will appreciate the country side and experience a relaxing atmosphere while sipping wine. Vincent and Betsy invite all to come for free tasting and tours.
Cabernet Franc $14.95
A slightly oaked dry red wine. The full bodied wine has rich flavors of black cherry and plum complimented by elegant aromas of toasted oak. This wine holds an impressive finish.
Angler's Choice $11.95
An off-dry blended white wine created just for that special seafood or fish dinner. Serve chilled.
Traminette $11.95
A unique Gewurtztraminer hybrid with fresh fruity aroma and floral-spicy flavors. This table wine is a semi-sweet palate pleasure. Good with fruit and cheese or just sipping. Serve chilled.
Make Me Blush $11.95
Our most popular wine made from the Chambourcin grape is a semi-sweet blush that will blossom in your glass with aromas of black cherry. Pairs well with baked ham, spicy food, cheese of just sipping with a friend. Serve chilled.
Shepherd's White $11.95
A golden sweet white wine made from the blend of Chardonel and Vidal grapes. Produces a fresh fruity aroma. A perfect complement to seafood or pasta. Serve chilled.
Shepherd's Red $13.50
A full bodied, mildly oaked, sweet red wine that has a mild floral nose. Pairs nicely with Italian foods, spicy barbecue and summer sausage. Serve chilled.
