2007 Bodegas Naia Las Brisas $11.95

Spain, Rueda

This interesting blend of 50% Verdejo plus equal parts of Sauvignon Blanc and Viura has a lovely floral and honeysuckle nose. Las Brisas has a beautiful citrus aromatics with racy ripe flavors. This wine is perfect complement for seafood and especially crustaceans. Salud!

2005 Bodegas Beronia Crianza Rioja $14.95

Spain, Rioja

Aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels, this Crianza blends a mixture of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo grapes into a blanced wine with a vanilla bouquet, medium ruby red color and a round a pleasant palate. The soft attack of wild fruits starts with good structure and ends with great balance.


2006 Bodegas Alto Moncayo Veraton $24.95

Spain, Campo De Borja, Aragon

The 2006 Alto Moncayo Veraton is 100% Garnacha aged in new French and American oak for 17 months. Dark ruby-colored, it exhibits an alluring nose of toasty new oak, mineral, spice box, black cherry, and black raspberry. This leads to a wine bordering on opulence, with layers of fruit, some structure, and a long, pure finish. Drink it over the next 8-10 years.

2005 Cellers Unio Roureda Llicorella $27.95

Spain, Priorat

Llicorella is a blend of Garnacha and Mazuela (Carinena) from low production old vines, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo that ferment separated. After a maceration of 15 days in their own skins, the first ones begin their ageing in French oak casks, and second ones in American oak casks, until their tannins are smoothened. With a slight filtration the wine is bottled and continues its ageing until its characteristic bouquet is achieved.

Cherry red in color with purple tones, with aroma of red fruits and toasted notes. It the mouth it is powerful, concentrated with notes of jam and cocoa. The finish is long and balanced.
